Local History Project

The Partnerships Local History Project is researching the local history of Athersley, New Lodge and Smithies with a view to producing a book.

So if you have you any photographs, newspaper cuttings, documents or interesting stories to share relating to growing up in the Athersley/New Lodge/Smithies areas or if you are interested in helping to create a community archive, we’d love to hear from you.
